Malaysian Defence & Security Hall (MDaS Hall)
For the first time DSA 2016 introduced the Malaysian Defence & Security Hall (MDaS Hall) located at Hall 1M, Mezzanine level of Hall 1.
MDaS Hall consisted of agencies including Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Immigration, Royal Malaysia Police, Department of Prison, Royal Malaysian Customs, Department of Fire & Rescue, and Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency.
DSA 2016 YOUTH PROGRAMME
To get more in depth Youth involvement within the DSA 2016, a programme is developed with the intention of giving them more hands-on experience and exposure about the Defence & Security Industry.
500 youth took part in this programme. The DSA 2016 Youth Programme is a joint collaboration between the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Youth and Sports and Ministry of Higher Education.
The Programme are segmented into 3 layers:
CHIEF OF ARMY ROUNDTABLE TALKS (CHART)
This highly important feature introduced for the first time at DSA 2012 was a huge and effective success whereby pertinent issues were presented and deliberated by a host of Chiefs of Army from around the region. This major feature which was organised by the Malaysian Army continued to excel in 2014 and will return in DSA 2016
BATTLEFIELD HEALTHCARE -
CHEMICAL BIOLOGICAL RADIOLOGICAL NUCLEAR EXPLOSIVES (CBRNE)
DSA was the first global defence and security event to introduce a specific sector and feature on Battlefield Healthcare. Since its inception at DSA 2008, this feature has grown from strength to strength which is reflected by the impressive number of Surgeon Generals from around the world who now have DSA firmly marked in their calendars as a must attend event.
This exclusive sector which has always been part of the DSA series will once again have a strong presence of companies who wish to focus specifically on Cyber Security.
CONTRACTS & MOU SIGNING
At DSA 2014, the Malaysian Ministry of Defence signed and announced a total of 25 Contracts MOUs whilst Defence/Security companies signed 7 MOUs and government signed 10 contracts.

Once again, The Malaysian Army will showcase various dynamic demonstrations during the 4 day show.
HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE & DISASTER RELIEF (HADR)
Debuted at DSA 2014, this element was showcased as a response to the recent humanitarian disasters in Malaysia and in the region that threaten personal and national security and safety. Themed "HADR - Advances & Application of Technology" the conference featured sessions by National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA), Malaysia, exhibitors and Keynote Address by Deputy Minister of Defence, Malaysia.
